What you need to know:

  • Classes begin at 6pm and end at 8 pm unless otherwise noted.
  • Classes include beverages, dessert and expert discussion, including both demonstration and hands-on components, as well as periods of extended standing, some lifting and physical activity.
  • Classes take place inside an active commercial kitchen, and participants must adhere to health and safety standards, as instructed by the chef.
  • Tickets must be purchased in advance and are non-refundable and non-transferable. We recommend this class for adults, however responsible young people are welcome!

A unique opportunity to taste the rare and rarified. Please note, this is a tasting class and goes from 7-9 p.m.

Champagne, Tokaji, Passito, Recioto, Port and, of course, Yquem are all names you will become familiar with by the end of this special class.  Many wine drinkers pass by these famous names on the shelf and wonder if the Nectar inside could possibly live up to the high price tag.  Enjoy this unique opportunity to find out without having to buy the whole bottle!  Guided by Nectar owner and sommelier  Rebekah Pearse, you will learn not only how they taste, but how they are made, the stories behind them, and nibble on delicious sweets from the Nectar kitchen.

Please note, this is a tasting class and not a hands-on class.  It will begin at 7 pm and go until 9 pm
